Love Is An Illusion

Complete | Fargo | 2000 released

Rereading this and I can see that the plot to get them together at the beginning was kinda rushed and didn’t make sense. Why did Dojin obsess over a random person he “hates”. But it really makes me appreciate how the art gets better as the story goes on. Ngl, dojin kinda creeped me out in the beginning. Also, hyesung is funny in the early chapters, he’s so rude and obnoxious. I like hyesung character, he is math smart but dumb in every other way. Ngl, I’m kinda out growing these characters, but they’ll always have a special place in my heart.

Kyou Kara Omega ni Narimashita

Complete | Maiki Sachi | 2018 released

3.5/5. 2nd read, but mostly the same thoughts. This was a cute, but dumb, omegaverse. Now it’s cute because they were childhood friends who have crushes on each other, and to top it off it’s an omegaverse, love a good omegaverse! But it’s dumb because the whole plot is constructed on a miscommunication, and it’s just not that believable or entertaining, to me. Now I think this is a good first omegaverse story because it’s a rare one with no rape and consent. But I almost wish the seme weren’t so green flag, because he needs to man up and express his love! Same with the omega. Now you mean to tell me they move in together and almost become mates just because their parents say so? No I don’t believe it. Use your head, it’s a free world where you can say no and yes. Anyways, I don’t think this is bad but it could be better. I also wish every omegaverse had babies because that’s the only reason I read them! This is about two childhood friends who like each other but can’t say it to the other. When the uke goes from beta to omega, the alpha and him move in together so they can become mates and take care of each other… but misunderstandings happen on both ends and they wait for each other to say that they want to become mates. Thanks to the help of the side characters they finally man up and do become mates. Man I feel Australian because of how much I wrote mate.
