Bound to Be Fools
To be honest, we understand that to be with someone you love, it is a good happy-ending. Actually as the author tried to emphasize that the real happiness (or we can say the real happy-ending) is the ability to love yourself. (There is a spoiler in next paragragh, please skip if you don’t wanna read) Kangjin has looked for love, affection and attention from others. He thinks that he will be happy if someone loves him. But that is not the point, if he cannot actually love himself. Jungkwon has tried to be honest and sincere as you can see how he lives his life. Because of money and loans, he sold his body and betrayed his beliefs. After he got money from Chisoo, he wants to spend his normal life with his mother and younger sister. He is back to his usual self that he will be happy eventually. While Chisoo, he realized that he cannot run away with Kangjin, and he cannot betray his organization. That’s why he chooses to let Kangjin goes and let his pathetic broken heart goes also. I think it depends on individual perspective and choices they make and what is the most important thing in their life they must focus on. Then they can find their own happinesses in their ways. The author is really lovely, she tries to portrait this story as series on set that Kangjin and Jungkwon end up dating in their real (actor) life. This story gave a lot of lesson learn that you should prioritize your self first, learn to love yourself as Kangjin tries to, to be honest and sincere as Jungkwon is always doing, to keep your promise as Chisoo does. There are a lot of drama but I’m really enjoy their story.
