Cutest Yaoi I've read by far. Yohan is so adorable and the story was so original! At first I was really confused at the concept of a deaf character, especially since they use their hands to communicate, so I was curious on how they would make us, the readers, understand what he was saying if he was speaking to someone else, but I gotta admit, this was super well done. And that art style? Don't see many yaois like it. It was so refreshing to see a bigger person (bigger as in size without the muscle) portrayed as a main character. I'd like to own a physical copy of this, I give it high ratings from beginning to end!

What Does The Fox Say?

You can't claim to love yuri if you don't know about WDTFS. Literally one of the OGs of yuri, top tier, up there with Shoujo Sect, Girl Friends, and any other mainstream yuri you can think of. I reread this manhwa like twice a year. Loved all the characters, the story is, by far, one of the best stories in yuri to date (and that's out of the hundreds of yuris I've already read) there's drama, romance, tragedy, comedy, literally everything. If you make it through the first few chapters and don't find this manhwa or the characters somewhat interesting, you're probably a buzzkill. There isn't a yuri lover alive who can say they don't like this manhwa. Please read it if you haven't yet, you won't regret it

Moonlight Garden (Kang Unnie)

AAAAHHHHHH! This manhua is so freaking cute! I loved It all! There wasn't one bad chapter! And if it's one thing I appreciate more than anything when it comes to a good story is the twists! Couldn't have written it better if they tried! It's these types of reads that makes you want to keep coming back waiting for the next update because you're so eager to know what's going to happen next! This was a very entertaining, informative, and passionate read, easily a top teir yuri, up there with WDFTS, citrus, Bloom Into You, and Tamin De Gushi.

I had to go back to reread this to give it a better rating. I was too harsh on it the first time because as I was reading it, I kept comparing it to What Does The Fox Say because of the similarities and that jaded my opinion of it. Even then, I was still a little reluctant to give it 4 stars because the story really did remind me so much of WDTFS for obvious reasons outside of the BDSM. The only character worth reading for after a certain point is Sulhwa and I still stand by my opinion that Jaehee doesn't deserve her. I can't say she would have been better off with Huilin, but I felt like the story would have been better if it ended with Jaehee on her own after finally realizing what true love is- Sulhwa was so eager to run back to her and take her back after being hurt by her so many times that it made me almost sick. Sulhwa should have found better, Jaehee should have learned to love and lose, and Huilin... well, I would have liked to have seen more of a redemption from her than a sob apology, so I still don't think she deserves happiness for all she's done, but that's just me. The story would have been so good if the author was more spontaneous in their endings, characters don't need to have happy endings in order for the story to feel like it's completed and that's what I felt like the author was trying to do. All in all, the read wasn't boring in the slightest, there is enough smut and drama to keep anyone entertained, my only criticism is I wish the characters were written a little better. They're all such cliché villains and heros that if it wasn't for the smut, it would have been difficult for me to keep reading but cliché is okay if the story itself is good, so good job author. I'd love a spin-off series of Huilin getting more of a redemption or even U-Young Sun and that student hitting it off.

I'm not sure how I feel about this. The story was great, and the premise of the story was entertaining, I'm just personally not a fan of toxic relationships like this. I don't like to romanticize traits like jealousy, greed, obsession and everything else Yoo Wons character portraited. She loved Ji-an, but ruining her life isn't the way to go about your feelings. She stole her songs, sabotaged her debuts, cheated on her, just so she knew Ji-an would have nothing and no one else to rely on but Yoo Won herself, at that point, that isn't love, it's toxic obsession. I don't know if the series ended at chapter 7 or if it just stop being translated, but I didn't care for the ending, which is why I had to give this a 4 star rating. I didn't see the benefit of Ji-an returning to Yoo Won. Love aside, that woman destroyed everything she ever worked for, even brought other women in their bed, I can't rationalize why Ji-an would go back to her at the end of the day, even if Yoo Won ruined her life to prove that fame and money meant nothing to her so long as she has Ji-an. I understand everyone roots for a happy ending, but this story didn't need that. Love stories don't have to end with the two characters, who were so toxic for each other, ending up together- especially when it doesn't change the outcome of the story. Ji-an could have rose to fame herself after Yoo Wons fall if she wanted to. She didn't need Yoo to do that. I don't know, I just hate that Yoo got her happy ending when she didn't deserve it. Losing her fame meant nothing to her, she didn't care, the only thing she cared about was Ji-an and the fact that a character like her got her happy end with no development is a bit of a let down. Like I said, it was a great story, I would have just hoped for a different outcome.
