The Story of a Person Who Grew a Flower

Complete | murasakino | 2019 released

A bit difficult to understand with the first read through, but still a beautiful story. Longing for someone so much that, instead of wishing for that person to love you in return, you wish to be a version that person will love, even if it ends up hurting you. This was a beautiful portrayal of true, genuine love, but not all love has happy endings I'm afraid. I can't fathom loving someone so much that I'm willing to change myself, give myself away, for a chance to be recognized. The ending had me only slightly confused, I get the symbolism, I just didn't understand why the nurse ended up the same way as the student. Was that also her wish, even though she never understood the feeling of love even until the very end? This melancholic story left me feeling empty. Not in a bad way, not in the slightest, I just hoped for a more sweeter ending- which I know is a lot to ask for coming from this author. This story wasn't bad at all, I felt a wave of sadness near the end, but the story was so magnificently told that a sad ending didn't make me regret reading it. Beautiful storytelling, beautiful character traits, beautiful artwork. Another fantastic piece from this author.

Eve's Medicine

I'm sorry, I'm really sorry, this would have made some great work if it wasn't pedophile material! I refuse to rate it any higher! I would have even given it a fighting chance if the ages were 15 or 16, this is literally a child! She looks like she's maybe 10 at the latest! I can tolerate extreme age gap if it's innocent and cute with no sexual intent or activities, but this here is pure satanic and the only people who I will assume actually likes this are pedophiles themselves! TToTT you can't change my mind! Why is stuff like this allowed to get published lmao. Like, fuck a doll, fuck your siblings, for God's sake, fuck a goat just please LEAVE LITERAL CHIKDREN OUT OF YOUR SEXUAL FANTASIES! TToTT

Kissing Lilies

Complete | 828 | 2019 released

Wish I could have seen more of this, it's cute, simple, funny, and not too steamy, which is the perfect combination for yuri to me. I could see this becoming a series, I'd love to see more from this couple, I love the idea of a clueless, slow starting Dom and an eager shy Sub trying to throw hints at her lol.

The Name of my Feelings

Complete | Kang unnie | 2022 released

A well written yuri about a younger sister who is secretly in love with her older sister. While I can't say the premise of the story was anything original, it definitely was an entertaining read. I was a bit disappointed with how the ending played out though because I never really bought that sleeping cliché where they think they're still dreaming so they do whatever they want to the S/O. Sorry, regardless of how tired someone is, that's just not believable and makes for lazy writing, I believe. Still though, I had to give it 5 stars, maybe out of favoritism, because I really love this author and all of their works and despite the clichés, this still was a great read and a wonderfully written oneshot. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for something quick and spicy to read.

I Adore you, Teacher

Not vibing with the story one bit. Like always, the art is breathtaking, but this story was... everywhere? I don't even really know how to articulate what I thought about it. I did want to like Seonmin, and I did in the beginning, but pitied her towards the end. The professor is just straight garbage for reasons outside of cheating and manipulation, and I don't even know where to begin with Yujin. Like, all the characters were bad and the ending was horrible. I'm so surprised too because this authors other works are pretty decent, not sure what happened here. Drama be dammed, this was hardly entertaining to read, it just just an amalgamation of sex scenes and nonsense. To give such a complex plot to characters we know little to nothing about and no time to even developed a connection with was bound to end bad, but this read was an all time low for me sadly. There's no one to feel sorry for, no one to be happy for, no one to root for, no end goal or anything and I hate that Yujin still ended up getting her happy ending. I hate that I couldn't enjoy this read, but even so, I still gave it 3 stars just because I love literally every other manhwa the author has made, this one just didn't sit right with me.
