I don't know how the author would develop ML to become a good husband material. But I sincerely hope (even if it's impossible) that FL would get married to another man. He could not give her a happy life, as his mother is a true nightmare. You see, the whole family of ML was abusive towards FL in the last timeline. MC was a duchess, but she was never treated as one. Even though she hadn't done anything wrong. As if having a cold and ruthless husband wasn't enough, MC also had a strict, hateful psychopath mother-in-law, and had to face the sneer and negligence of the maids and servants. Even worse, she had to live in poor conditions, supervised, almost like she got locked in her room all day. Even when she was pregnant, it didn't get any better. Right after she gave birth, her son was taken away from her. That boy was raised separately from her. When she missed him and sneaked out of the room to meet her son?
