after many years on my tbr list i finally binged this in one go. the way the story always puts you on edge throughout the whole thing bc you’re just constantly anticipating something bad happening and thats what really kept me engaged. ngl i was a bit confused sometimes but this was still enjoyable to read. i do feel that some characters felt a bit meh as i thought they’d have a bigger impact on the story or would intrigue me in some way so i was a little disappointed. the ending felt bittersweet despite them escaping since they have to live on the run and we’re just left wondering if they’d ever truely escape

wow. i absolutely adore plots with yearning and normally short stories like these feel like their missing something or its premise too complicated to fit in such a short series but this was beautiful. the pacing was perfect and watching them pine for each other was so *chefs kiss*. i was just as frustrated as dohun seeing how yejun got married off without even telling him a single thing about his feelings or plans but im glad they got their happy ending. like i swear the ones in love are the most oblivious of each others feelings. and the side stories?? loved it. the art style too
