Loved the story! The plot, the feelings, the relationship, everything was fantastic in my opinion. This manga has done a great job in portraying the reality of domestic violence cases. I can't even put it in words. I'm amazed. I was desperately hoping that this would have more chapters but, alas! It's alright. Of course, their mind would break after suffering from all that shit. The mother was kinda irresponsible but well, i kinda understand her part of the story. I was hoping chapter after chapter or in the extra chapter that, the little brother would lose his mind or something, trying to kill himself, you know, but that would've changed my whole opinion of the story.

I started this because it was short and I was tired of romance. It didn't disappoint me at all. It's a hidden masterpiece in itself.

I read this story a long time ago and I'm reading it again because it's toxic af and the ml is smart, not gonna lie. The side characters are also beautifully drawn.

The girl is so annoying. It was okey at first but when she said, "The baby had to ripped off for other's convience" I just got mad. Like, if you can't handle things like these, just give up. Why did you even join the department? Just shut up and stop crying. The rape victim should've the right to abort the baby, she already suffered so much and you're still thinking of the baby like, what??? The baby wasn't even born, it had no feelings, it didn't even see the world, it didn't lose anything but the victim lost so much. Instead of the baby, think about the victim, how much she had to suffer, to endure to abort the baby. I seriously wanted to read this till the end because people said Brutal's protagonist is in this manga and I love him wholeheartedly so, I did read until the 3rd chapter but I can't go on anymore. I also tried to read this a few months back but couldn't. Why? Because the girl, the mc is a fucking idiot and I don't like those type of people at all. If she can't work, if she can't even handle a case on her own then give up, go somewhere else, open a bakery or something because what the fuck are you doing? Crying because of a baby? Feeling uncomfortable because of a father son case? That should be normal. Didn't anyone warn her or tell her that there would be cases like these if you work as a forensic researcher? Hero? Who are you kidding? That's naive. I can't read her stupidity, if the manga didn't have her as a character, I would've read it. I only gave this 2 stars because Brutal's ml is in this, nothing else.
