This was super hot! It was such a good mix between steamy and romantic imo. Realistically, both characters could be considered assholes, but they worked together in this short story so well

Really good but I hesitate to give it a 5/5 (but again, it's definitely an above average story that got me invested). Potential Spoilers ahead: * * * * First of all, I really enjoy it and couldn't stop binging it omg! It's definitely an above average story and gets better towards the later chapters, but stuff between the main couple felt a little rapey at times before they really decided to be a family, and it felt kinda iffy when the bottom guy got upset after being pinned down and fucked on a couple occasions... I dunno. Not a super healthy romance at times. But they do learn and improve and are growing together and it's pretty damn good right now imo.

3/5 because the storytelling and art were actually really good. Objectively? It was a good oneshot that showed a (possible) dark insight into Suzaku's past. Did I enjoy it? Errr way too rape-y and too much self-hate for me. It was very emotionally dark...

Wow I just binged this in a day. So dramatic and so sexy! Literally the best BL art I've seen. Great pacing and storytelling. Warning that seme is a total asshole but the drama in this story is too good to not try. Spoilers ahead!! At one point in the front half I almost dropped it because I felt so bad for the adorable MC. MC can't seem to get a break with both his first love and the main seme using him. The second time seme sleeps with him was straight up rape which made me feel icky (and not that that's okay) but it really picks up after that in the plot and you just want the best for the main couple later on given what they've both been through. Seme realizes how much of an asshole he's been and becomes a lot nicer (but to a realistic extent unlike other BL's where the seme suddenly becomes an absolute doting angel after realizing his feelings). Sure, in reality it'd be a toxic af relationship but given that it's in a historical setting where a lord and a "lowborn" are involved, I can overlook some of that since shit in the world was more messed up back then. It's NOT a fluffy BL but one full of dramatic and intensity and I couldn't stop reading.
