I just can’t get over the pedo, rapey, and groomer themes of this book. Both the main and second female leaded were groomed since the age of five ish. The book was weird to begin with bc the soul of a 15 yr old transmigrated into an adult woman fell in love with the man that groomed her in her past life and had kids within two ish years. But the whole book just went to shit after abt ch 220 when Yue Ruo came in bc it just turned into a rape forgiveness story and was filled with purposeful miscommunication. I would’ve given the book 3 stars maybe before ch 200 but when we found out that the second female lead was raped and forced to have her groomers child and the groomer acted like he deserved to be forgiven. The whole plot like in that arc just made me want to puke. This rushed ending and unnecessary drama was weird too.

“Doing the right thing is difficult” not for Lise lmao. She just did what was natural for her and the accomplishments just kept falling into her lap. She literally never struggled with anything (even when she was kidnapped by an enemy nation, the worst thing she experienced was a bullet to the shoulder with zero consequences or shown pain during recovery) and I thought that was a bit annoying. It made her character lack development in many ways. I enjoyed the premise and romance tho so 8/10.
