I really liked this one! It’s exactly what I’m always looking for. I’ll definitely reread it at some point.

Ch 93

“Doing the right thing is difficult” not for Lise lmao. She just did what was natural for her and the accomplishments just kept falling into her lap. She literally never struggled with anything (even when she was kidnapped by an enemy nation, the worst thing she experienced was a bullet to the shoulder with zero consequences or shown pain during recovery) and I thought that was a bit annoying. It made her character lack development in many ways. I enjoyed the premise and romance tho so 8/10.

This was a fun read! V mary sue w/ magic power in a transcend time and space to fall in love way. Plot twists were nice and foreshadowed well in advance so it was clear the book was thought out. ML was meant to be the knight in shining armor (literally swooped in declaring he would save her after shifting dimensions) only to get caught immediately and have to rely on the FL picking up on the back up plan. Also why are all the people who love her the self sacrificing type EXCEPT the villain??? “I’ve been in love with u for multiple centuries and lifetimes but I’m ok with u never knowing as long as you’re happy.” “I’m in love with u for your strength of character and boldness in standing up to me who was in a position of authority but I’m gonna let it go the second u officially say no bc you’re happy.”

FL is a tad helpless which is an annoying authorial choice but she’s not damsel in distress abt it even when she’s in trouble

Sorta romance tbh the romance is the premise not the theme or genre Yk? Forgiveness and redemption seem to be the theme and it’s all about the main character resetting a karmic tragedy
