Munch's manga / #strong female lead(1)

I am a starved woman. The plot thickens each chapter, and i am left with questions that desperately need to be answered‍ why can't the duke touch the duchess?? Does she have some kind of backing that makes him so afraid? And how is the duke able to recall past memories? I'm excited for more chapters
