Dear Green: Hitomi No Ounowa
This is a prequel to "Dear Green". This yaoi is different from the usual type of yaoi that I've read thus far. The main couple here didn't just rush into everything headlong--not that I have anything sgainst yaoi manga that do that because I do enjoy those too--but this manga is such a refreshing change of pace. They actually took their time to establish a relationship. They pair thought of the consequences and then they decided what to do next. It's a bit lengthy and it isn't smutty, so if you're looking for something quick and steamy, this isn't the right one for you. However, if you want something different and interesting, you should probably give this a shot. It isn't bittersweet and it isn't melancholic. It kind of offers a sense of realism in how a relationship between two men who starts off as friends can turn into something more.
