Houkago Hachimitsu

Complete | HAMADA Kamome | 2000 released

Story about a plain guy and a popular guy. Opposites attract. No intense drama just slow, mellow story about awkward high school love and it's pretty cute. Artstyle could be a bit better though but it's not the worst so it's fine. Plot: Smut: Fluff:

Trap in a Skirt

Complete | Puruchome | 2000 released

It's not a feel good story nor a tearjerker, kinda just a slice of life type of thing. Story about 2 high school boys. One is curious about what it feels like to be pleasured like a woman. Makise fingers his own bum and dresses up in feminine clothes--but he doesn't want to actually act or look like a woman. His classmate has been interested with him for a long time but has been suppressing it because he is unsure of his sexuality. Takano dated a girl once but found her gross so when he kissed Makise and it felt good, he comes to terms that he is indeed gay and us very much in love. Plot: Smut: Fluff:

Metro Dog

Complete | KUSAMA Sakae | 2000 released

Not gonna lie, this was slightly confusing but the vibe was right and I somehow managed to enjoy it. I just like the fact that they genuinely cared for each other. No unecessary drama. Plus they are reversible so... Plot: Smut: Fluff:

Sannin Gurashi

Yes. Yes! A million times YES! This manga was great from start to finish. I cried so many times for different reason. First, I cried because I could relate with the fears and pain that the little brother was going through and secondly, I cried tears of happiness because they found their happy family! The last pairing was about average, tbh but the family vibes from the first 2 pairings was just perfect. I'll definitely re-read this again. I'm kinda mad that I've been putting this manga on hold for so long because I assumed it would not be that happy an ending because it was just tagged shounen-ai. The cover plus the tag made me think that it might be just one of those stories with a bittersweet ending but nope! I was so wrong! 1st story - big brothr x cook. Seme is a responsible adult, who has been taking care of his little bro ever since he was just a teen because they were left by their parents. Then he meets a cook at a restaurant where he was working at and they fall in love. Seme is one of the most honest, loving and caring characters I've seen in any bl manga. He was open about his relationship and told his little brother who his lover was. He and his partner lived together with his little bro and they pretty much became a perfect, loving household. 2nd story - is about the little brother from the first story. He developed a little crush on a regular customer who happens to be the older brother of the uke from the first story. At the same time, he reencounters his old childhood friend who then confesses to him. This pairing was very cute. They experienced heartbreak but ultimately, LOVE WINS! 3rd story - high school student x nursery teacher. It wasn't love at first sight, per se but all it took for them to fall in love was one particular encounter and eye contact! Plot: Smut: Fluff:

Nichijousahan Bi - Beautiful Life

Complete | Moto Haruhira,Moto Haruko | 2010 released

It was a happy ending but it left me wanting more from them, living more like a happy family now that they're living together but...alas! This is not that kind of story. Plot: Smut: Fluff:

From Green Kitchen

Complete | Aki Ueda | 2000 released

A lovely little gem. It's by no means perfect but I'd be lying if I said that this isn't a great manga. The characters could've been expanded more as well as the story but all this was lost upon me because of the emotions that it managed to evoke. My heart was moved. I even cried at one particular scene at the end where he was saying goodbye to his now deceased mother and the home he grew up in. It just really tugged at my heart and I don't regret reading it. Though, having said that, I don't recommend reading this if I want something light and fluffy just to brighten up your day because it could just end up making you feel melancholic. Love this though and I'll definitely read this again someday. Plot: Smut: Fluff:
