Sayonara Alpha

Complete | ICHINASHI Kimi | 2016 released

Kyou Kara Omega ni Narimashita

Complete | Maiki Sachi | 2018 released

Childhood friends who are hiding their feelings for each other. I love that the alpha seme is so gentle, caring and patient. They have supportive parents and friends too. It wasn't as fluffy as I expected or rather, hoped it would be but it was still good. Pretty conventional story as far as BL goes. Childhood friends+hidden feelings+misunderstanding+mate bonding. Plot: Smut: Fluff:

Whilst I didn't exactly hate this, I didn't really like it either. The art was good but the story was bland. None of the conflicts really mattered and everything was glossed over. Dude is a clean freak? Doesn't matter had a one night stand with a total stranger. Wanted to be rich, a politician and single for life? Falls in love with a king after one night. The king's brother doesn't like the fact that the king is doting on him so he hired some men to deal with Souichirou. What happens? It's okay, he vomits all over the guys and the king comes in to warn his brother not to do it again. King says he doesn't want kids because he doesn't want to be with a woman just to create an heir to his throne? No worries, the king is just an idiot who didn't realize he's been fucking an omega male who is capable of giving birth. How does he fix the misunderstanding? Infiltrates the omegan paradise of course. Does he get in trouble for it? Not really, he's a foreign king afterall. He can do anything!

The alpha was a bit of a douche at the start but I guess he mellowed a bit near the end.
