I’m stuck on with the last thing he said means, it seems like there might have been a translation issue, but it seems like he said “isn’t that a grave mistake” to “ I hope we meet again in heaven”? Which seems weird

That was too sad, he took her bad card and said he’s “used to getting hit so it’s okay”.. wow, that hurt.. I wish he would’ve got that happy family and gotten to know what that was like.. so sad..
