i really wanted to like this, and there are bits i appreciate but... the male lead (ML) treats the female lead (FL) so bad... she's constantly subjected to violence and heartbreak and he literally kills her soul multiple times. and then when he's the least bit nice she just melts into his arms again it's so abusive... it isn't true love. it's so scary that people could read this and thing "wow thats true! romance!" didn't he, like, rape her???? didn't he treat her like nothing?? didn't he, oh idk, immediately change his mind even tho she just wanted the best for him and told him to trust her. she literally trusted him so much and he just abuses her love for him. his love is so obsessive and toxic that she isn't allowed to even be around other men. shes in love w him and he just makes assumptions like omg shes cheating! omg this omg that! even when she devoted her entire life to him. shes heartbroken the ENTIRE TIME, all 3 seasons. sure they had a happy ending at last, but how many times did he treat her like garbage and use her to fulfill his sick desires??? he made her life a living hell. theyre so affectionate because of what.
