Hishakaishindo

Complete | Enjo | 2000 released

P: Rae: MC is a musician and became roof friends with another student who is a photographer. Both characters are kind of distant but get closer through interactions on the roof. MC is a bit of a player with the ladies, including the school nurse. But the MC’s mind was on someone else. O: So good. They are both so sexy. It's nice to see how they developed. It was interesting how Hayakawa was the uke, I thought he'd be the seme. Konno was so considerate! I love how realistic this is. I really want more!! There was no penetration, but damn this was hot as hell. Reread. I totally agree with my previous comment, this was so damn good. C2 - ahh... Hayakawa seems so done with life. Gah this is so hot wtf C3 - man... what did Hayakawa even do to deserve this crap :( C4 - awww Konno is such a lovely guy C5 - gahhh Hayakawa's fake smiles make me sad... Konno definitely knows Hayakawa is lying. WTFFF THEY PARTED JUST LIKE THAT??? C6 - waa... so glad Hayakawa has changed and become more open after opening up to Konno ^^ OMG!!!! C9 - LOL HAYAKAWA xD Glad to see them be so happy together!

Horimiya

Complete | hero, HAGIWARA Daisuke | 2011 released

P: Hori is your average teenage girl... she has a side she wants no one else to ever find about. Then there's her classmate Miyamura, your generic glasses-wearing boy in school and a totally different person outside. When the two meet unexpectedly, they discover each others' secrets and develop an unexpected friendship. O: This is so cute and funny. I wish there was more of a relationship development with Hori and Miyamura, but it's still a nice read. I started reading this ages ago. Not much plot anymore tbh. Was a great read at first, but dragged on for too long...

Ao no Flag

Complete | Kaito | 2000 released

P: The "youth pure love" story begins when three students in their third and final year of high school meet during a time when they are worried about paths for their futures. Waiting for them are sweet, painful, and heartrending days. O: Ahh I only read up to chapter 5 and WOW a lot of stuff is going on. I feel like it's implied that Touma (bff) secretly likes Taichi, and Masumi likes Futaba because she said they're alike and that the only matching ideal characteristic is black hair. So unexpected... Ah fuck. This hurts. It really does. I can't help but wish Taichi x Futaba and Touma x Taichi, even though it'll obviously end up with the former ship. I honestly prefer the latter. It hurts so much to see Touma subtly show his feelings. I kinda get why Taichi doesn't see Touma at all as a love interest as he has always considered Touma as a friend. I love how each character is developed. I didn't particularly like Yagihara at the start, but after reading C.32, I understand her perspective more. This is a nice, thought-provoking piece of work. She addresses bias against women. Holy shit C.41 has so many feels.... That confession and apology... ;-; Touma.... That talk between Touma and Seiya ;-; Every chapter makes me want to cry. I'm so glad that Touma and Taichi end up together in the end! However it would've been nice to see the story of Taichi breaking up with Futaba and then dating Touma.. It seemed a bit rushed, but that was a daring ending considering this is shounen. It was interesting how C54 was from Touma's perspective, but damn I really wanted to see Touma :( It was a nice touch to see Touma use the surname "Ichinose" meaning they're married :')

This Croc Will Die in 100 Days

Complete | Yuuki kikuchi | 2019 released
2020-03-20 19:22 marked

P: A Twitter comic by Yuuki Kikuchi about a croc living his last 100 days. O: This is kinda funny and sad at the same time. Ouch he actually did die at the end. :( Apparently this story was based off an irl story. The author (rat) was depressed after losing his best friend (croc). Death comes suddenly - treasure life. https://mobile.twitter.com/jiyunaJP/status/1240955144008634369

O: This is manga is seriously cute, scary and funny all at once. It never fails to impress me. C104 is so relatable. Omg C109 xD C361, 374, 413, 426, 427-9, 436. The youtube videos are really cute! The humour can be pretty hit or miss

Shimanami Tasogare

Complete | kamatani yuhki,Kamatani Yuuki | 2015 released

P: mickie: A story of a boy who is finding more about himself but is hindered by society. This is not some hardcore gay sex story and for those searching for that kind of story should not be reading this. But you should read this anyway because this is how people live with the discrimination and hate that not only comes from society but the people you loved such as family and friends. It has some triggering content such as bullying and suicidal thoughts but it is not the point of the story so if those things doesn't bother you, this is a story worth a read for its beautiful art and writing. O: This is pretty good. It is realistic, and basically teaches you not to judge people based on their sexuality, and explores lgbt people. The peoples' reactions sometimes bothered me though - those shocked looks were unsettling. It was touching to see Tasuku's development, and him becoming more confident and open. The ending felt abrupt yet also complete... I wish we had more though ah.

Taiyou No Ie

Complete | taamo | 2010 released

P: "Back in the day, this place was like a house of magic. Surely there must have been an invisible wizard living here in such a place so filled with both tears and laughter. Or so I used to think." What's a young child to do when her mother leaves her father for another man? Or when her father remarries a woman who brings along a child from a previous marriage? Or when her childhood neighbor friend invites her to live with him? O: Ahh I really don't know who to ship Mao with ;-; so sad how not everyone can end up with who they like. Mao is so adorable xD I feel a bit bad for Mao's dad - he didn't deserve being cheated on like WTF?! He is a bit hmm though - he outwardly appears to not care about Mao. His actions and thoughts don't match up. I thought Hiro used to like Sugimoto (Radical). But he seems to not really pay attention to her. Hiro's love(?) towards Mao low key bothers me, because I can't really imagine their relationship to go past familial love. Since when did he start being more aware of Mao that way..? I just feel like Daiki would understand her better - they're so similar. And DAMN Daiki looks fine w/o those glasses. F*CK but it's so obvious that she'll end up with Hiro based off the cover ;-; Her outfits are satisfying to look at ^^ C32 - OMG Hiro kissed Mao?! C34 - p16-7 T_T that hit me hard, I feel so goddamn bad for Daiki.. Mao never looked at him romantically. C35 - p5 EXACTLY! Chihiro captures Mao's denseness. Chihiro and Daiki are really similar -sigh- feels bad man. p15-6 - damn Daiki, getting things moving! Nice how it seems like Oda and Chihiro mutually like each other now! :D But Mao running away from Daiki.. AHH C36 - Mao saying she is glad Daiki acts like normal is a stab to my heart. She really doesn't consider Daiki as a potential lover. Omg she finally acknowledges his feelings! C41 - dang.. I feel bad for Hana now I just remembered how she must've felt guilty b/c she asked for her parents to buy her something that day they died. C42 - aww the reconciliation btwn Mao and her dad ;-; C44 - aww Mao's family is so wholesome! C45 - damn, why did her bio mum have to come at this time...? So complicated... It's sad how we don't get to see Oda much ever since his confession to Chi. This was long, but good.

Umibe no Etranger

Complete | Kii Kanna | 2000 released

P: KyoZaNa✿: Shun, a gay novelist who fled from wedding to live on a remote island, met Mio, a lonesome high school boy who'd lost parents. They became close friend before Mio's sent to an orphanage.. The story's set on a beautiful island with nice & understanding people around so it's quite cute & heartwarming read though both MC have tragic background. O: This was way better than I expected. It was a really feel good read. I liked the pacing, and the story. I didn't expect Mio to top, but I'm not complaining lol

Harukaze no Etranger

Ongoing | KII Kanna | 2000 released

P: The novelist Shun decides to travel to his hometown of Hokkaido with his younger boyfriend, Mio. Once he escaped an arranged marriage with his childhood friend by saying he was gay, he had been estranged from his parents. But once he heard that his father was sick, Shun decided to go home. It was an awkward homecoming for Shun, but to Mio who lost his parents... O: This again is so wholesome and lighthearted. I love the light humour. Shun, Mio and everyone else are all so precious. There is no unnecessary, love-rival jerk drama. It's really interesting seeing Mio and Shun's relationship progress.

To Dear, My Sorrow

Complete | Kureno Mataaki | 2000 released

P: Tsuji Shouma was on his way home from work when he finds a drunk man plastered all over a garbage heap. Pitying the man’s state, he decided to help and brought the man to his home. After cleaning up, he recognizes the man…his middle school classmate, Ashida Takeru. Taking advantage of Shouma’s kindness, what does Takeru do? O: This is so hot. Shouma is too kind ;-; Ashida on the other hand is... hard to understand. He is pretty hypocritical imo. Ashida looks so damn hot in his work outfit loll and when he bites his shirt. This felt wayyyy too short. I really wish there was more
