Night One Month After - A short story (8 pages) that takes place one month earlier than "NightS dj - Another Story" (thus one month after events of "NightS"), when Karashima first time visits Masaki after he discovers his whereabouts. O: Hot, and has feels, all of the stories are intriguing. Wish it was longer ;-; Loved the second and third stories, the first one was a bit confusing (about Yakuza) Rereading... not a 5/5, but still liked it

P: Ueda Tomoharu is a cop manning a local koban station, and he’s quite happy with his job and relatively quiet life until he happens to run into yakuza member Gotouda Aki while chasing down an underwear theif…and is suddenly confessed to! Aki doesn’t seem bothered in the least about their ~star-crossed lovers~ status and eagerly dives into a super lovey-dovey relationship with his policeman, but Ueda’s about to find out just how dangerous it can be dating a mobster…in more ways than one. O: Amazing, they’re the best couple ever ≧▽≦ They’re so adorable, and this manga is hilarious. :’D Aki is a fab uke~ interesting how it is a relationship of police and yakuza... so unexpected xD Aki is really funny, his bad sense of fashion is actually useful (if he dresses casual he attracts people). Lmao the deja vu with Euda’s brother :’D v.3 c.6b, 6c, 7a v.9 c.18.5 c.20

P: It follows the lifelong relationship between Kain Walker, a New York cop who has hidden his homosexuality, and his younger blond boyfriend, Mel Frederics, an orphan with a troubled past. O: This is complicated, not my type tbh. Rereading... Wow I can't believe I put this off for so long - mostly because of the art and heavy story. Although it is not a typical manga I read, this was very good... I am glad I gave this another try. Feels more like shounen ai than yaoi tbh. I feel for Mel :( I was pissed at Kain at the start, but it was nice to stick around and see his character development. Sad but good ending. For clarification rape wasn't btwn main couple, Mel got raped a lot. This manga addresses issues of homophobia and dark topic e.g. suicide attempt, rape C1 - Kain?? C2 - yikes so much went down in this chapter C3 - bruhhh Kain really be cheating on Mel??? Ik Josh is a model but bruh... what happened to Kain sincerely bringing Mel to see his parents??? Can't believe Kain did it with Josh, even though he is jealous of him??? Bruh Cain really is just talking casually to Josh again?? Wow... I feel like Kain is gonna let the secret slip... Ahh, it's nice to see Kain being more understanding of Mel. I feel like one of them will be killed at the end prob because of Kain's job since it's risky C4 - oh man that sucks for Kain.. Davis has such a cliche reaction C5 - bruh Kain is so hotheaded. OMFG I knew Cain would let Mel's secret slip :/ Ok ngl it made me tear up seeing Kain's mum slowly opening her heart towards Kain and Mel's relationship, so lovely C6 - oh no Gersh :( C7 - Brian: "Don't die out there" Bruh I don't have a good feeling. Wtf... what happened to Mel??? Did he get threatened? Why did he not tell Kain he's gone? Omfg this happened the day after their wedding too :( C8 - wait what if Mel committed a crime or sth as unlikely as it seems?? Or someone is pretending Mel is dead. C9 - aghhh it's that sus dude that asked Mel for the time in C7!! Bruh why does Mel have to go through so much shit :( C11 - wait was this this old manga where one guy was a police officer and other a criminal??? probably thinking of wrong manga C13 - this is inappropriate but it's kinda funny when the artist does the shake shock realisation panel C14 - WTF Luna is Joey's sister?!?! Oml Luna, Mel and Kain are ok now?? C15 - man I feel so bad for Mel :( So glad everything turned out well though C16 - wahhh that ending... bittersweet? :( C17 - ok this chapter was not related at all to the main story, but it was still kinda depressing. 3-->5

P: Jimmy, a small-time thief, is caught pickpocketing by a middle-aged guy named Reese. Instead of handing him over to the police, Reese makes him slog hard for a day at the book store where he works. Wanting to get back at the other man for humiliating him, Jimmy breaks into Reese's apartment, only to find evidence that he's a retired cop. A bit spooked now, he leaves in a hurry, determined to put it all behind him and carry on as usual... But getting Reese out of his head proves to be tougher than Jimmy could ever have imagined. O: ?

P: You're under arrest!? On his first official assignment, police officer Jinho thinks he catches a flasher... only it's the suave school nurse, Hwanung! One chance encounter quickly develops into something more as Jinho finds himself both excited and flustered by Hwanung's gestures of affection. O: It was ok, but felt lacking. It was kinda cute how Jinho was dense, but it was also frustrating. Hwanung is funny, but stalkerish. I was kinda rooting for Bumjoon, but he did some hmm stuff. It was obvious that he wouldn't end up with Jinho, because of the cover and the signs. So pointless why they bothered adding him in as a rival.

P: bureau of investigaytion: (spoiler alert) those kids in ch1 are dex (light haired) and cael (dark haired) are brothers, adoptive brothers. cael is the youngest and he is a therian. now whats a therian? they can transform into big cats! ex: jaguar, tiger, cheetah, lion, leopard, cougar, BUT not just big cats. there are wolves, bears, and hyenas too~ and 1st transformation of a therian makes them rlly wild, they lose their minds thats why cael didnt recognize dex and bit him when they were young. so long story short, there is a force that deals with therians and they r called THIRDS. a combination of therian and human squad, they work tgt to solve cases and dex was a police who had to join the force of THIRDS where his dad (not real parent) and his brother cael works O: This is pretty interesting, I'm liking the vibe, it is pretty chill and flirty lol. It's pretty entertaining. The only issues for me is the kinda messy art, not fleshed out characters and the plot seems a bit all over the place (perhaps this is also due to the translation?). Dex is honestly so wack but I still love him lol. Oh my god the friction btwn Dex and Sloane xDD lmao C11 killed me. After C19 that Pearce dude is honestly so sus... C26 - bruh.. I was kinda sus about that food but are you fr? damn JEEZ that guy is one crazy mf. This felt way too short ;-; Overall a good read, but I'd say it's overrated. There were quite a bit of plotholes.

The light flirting btwn them is so kyaa, but also it feels kinda weird lol. I can't tell if they actually like each other tbh, it just seems like they're messing around w/ each other to gain advantages. This seems like a bromance - no homo. Like it's a crime investigation w/ random hints of BL :P They're both hot af!! the old cook dude (Uncle Tan) was kinda sus.... esp C16. He seems to be constantly on the edge and sweating. C19 - bruh wtf why did he reveal himself like that lol??? C20 - wtf another creep- everything feels so scripted loll. Like the way we learn about new things seems oh-so convenient to me. Still a nice read ig.
