It’s crazy, I think I’ve been reading this for four years, a few months before it was continued. It got me through so many lonely nights, through finals, torn friendships, confronting my sexuality, being afraid to sleep bc of my stalker, etc. God, I am being so serious when I say I’m so grateful to have found this when I did, and that I never forgot about it. To finally see the end, and have it be a HAPPY ONE hallelujah, fills me with so many emotions. As I read through the last chapter, I could feel my chest pounding, with my heart feeling as if something had taken hold and was constricting it. I felt a deep sadness coming over me, as well as a huge feeling of hopelessness, where you can get your desired outcome no matter what you do. And then BAM!! Agi did it! Rice survived, the crazy bitch died, Reggie’s got his revenge, and Red is living happily with the woman she loves. I couldn’t have asked for a better result. Hopeless feeling? Gone. Sadness? Completely eradicated. Gosh I am just so happy right now. Usually I’d feel bittersweet about a book ending, but this one…this one is just so lovely. It feels so right. Again, I’m so grateful to have experienced reading this work of art as it was being produced. I’m going to go buy it now in its entirety.
