Well, that was oddly great ! I've never read such a thing and it's a masterpiece. A strange historical and mystic story of a soul-eater that grants wishes in exchange for ones soul. That backstory is the pretence to a series of beautiful one shot romances/yaois/tragedies. The whole thing is brilliantly written ! Even if the different stories seem independent, they are linked by the main protagonists, the chronology and general setting. There is no suspense but It's still thrilling and I would like to read more because it's done with talent and i have unanswered questions still about the protagonists.

Meh. Stopped at chapter 2

That was a wild ride... The relionships are twisted beyond repare but so deep. Their interactions seemed all wrong but at the same time everyone involved is aware of the wrong and chooses to keep on, so I feel like I can't judge ? That's why it doesn't feel like it legitimates abuse but portray à side of it where the lines of consent are blured and the dark spiral is endless. Adult men doing unreasonable things to eachother but knowingly... It's so well written ! And it broke my heart. Masterpiece.

A very very good read. I love historical settings! A traditional doctor find à half dead yakuza young man in the snow and inadvertantly savez his life, though he would have rather a dead corpse. That's the start of their story. It's very well written ! The characters are unique and lovely, the pace is just right (you can read it in one go or come back to it, the pleasure is the same), it's fun sexy and still holds a lot of depth. It's just an intelligent and beautiful work, brilliant and one of a kind. There's this feeling of melancholy (?) all through it but It's not sad.... really it's a wonderful happy story, puntuated by life's dramas. I love it.

A great yakuza/cop story ! I love no nonsense characters who are true to themselves, have clear understanding of all the trash that's going on and can take care of themselves. Adult men doing reasonable things to eachother and well balanced intriguing couples. Interesting dynamic !

Really nice story, interesting and cute. Nicely told. I would have liked it a little longer than a one shot but the pace was just right.

Nice and light

It's always nice and interesting to read stories about how couples handle reversibleness. This one is good.
