To Take An Enemy's Heart
I've binge read this all night until almost noon, my eyes are puffed but my soul is replenished ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ I struggled for the first 15-20 chapters where I almost drop it because ooooh boy ! were the two main characters for one the epitome of foolishness, naivety and stupidity; and for the other the jerkest jerk ever ! But i'm so happy I stuck with them !!! After that this story has it all: incredible character development, great pace and story, drama, romance the kind you remember fondly and are sure will never happen to you but still (≧∀≦) ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ, tragedy, suspense, angst (oh so much angst !), comedy worth laughing out loud like a mad person on your own in the dark, tears from the inexistant heart, and heart-stopping confessions and love scenes (a lot !). Oh, I forgot to add the serious psychological issues of one of the main characters which probably leads to the obsessive possesiveness of their relationship but is really nicely portrayed and the creepyness is overseen by sarcasm and laughter, no big deal (=・ω・=) Haaaaa, i'm just glad I was stubborn enough not to drop it before the 20th chapter when the previous ones didn't please me at all, 'cause one should finish what has been started. Goes straight to my list of "beautiful pieces I read" and are re-read worthy !
Life Senjou no Bokura
They got me with the first dialogue, I laughed so hard ! The concept is refreshing and the characters are lovely. Rather than a "slice" we witness their whole life from the encounter, the cruch to their last breath, through hardships and happiness. Very nice and fun
Ore no Kirai na Senpai
A little disappointed. I'm not a fan of the blushing/getting startled/jumping for everything kind of characters, so that was a set back. Plus, the story wasn't very elaborated: a classic hated rival becoming sex partner/love interest with a lot of smut but not much depth, unfortunately.
I'll Be Gay! Body Switcharoo
Oh my this comic is one of a kind ! I loooooved it (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧ The soul switching concept is not new but they took it to a whole other level ! And with so much fun I couldn't stop laughing. Still the story bears such a deeper meaning for both characters, a life lessons on loving oneself and loving others. Every aspect is handled perfectly, from the comical parts to the romance and the incredibly good dialogues and pace. A MASTERPIECE without a doubt. And I love a refreshing seke !
Eigyou Nika!
I love it ! So good so good sooo gooooood Paced, balanced, clever, funny, hot. All of it. A million times worth re-reading. One of those stories you don't want to end and fear you won't see anything better afterwards . The concept is simple and old, an office romance between à man and his senpai, but as always it's the narration that makes it a whirlwind of emotions embeded in timely and clever jokes and general lightness. It's a true plaisure to read, such a joy, and the characters are so endearing and lovely. When the author makes the partner stop in his tracks towards sex and take all the time necessary to cheer up the other, make him laugh to forget his stress and tension, so that they can both fully enjoy what they were actually looking forward to, then you know you have a true gem in your hands.
Kyoudai no Rule
Rather troubling atmosphere. I felt like they were just like blood related brothers (since they were 4 and 5 years old !) and i'm not a natural fan of incest plots. Though, I feared they'd be discovered and was wishing them happiness. Strange
Senya Ichiya - Shitone no Himegoto
I went in with no expectations and WOW I was pleasantly surprised ! This story is so interesting ! One of the main couple's character (Shouta) is so unbelievably kind, gentle, and selfless it was incredible. Seriously, I love him ! He melted my heart with his warmth (▰˘◡˘▰) And the realism of the dialogues and inner monologues was on point. A truely beautiful love story on how to mend a heart with another, how to heal trauma by allowing it to express itself, how to make someone care again by caring for them...
Raiatea
Good story, nice pacing and original plot (the call of the distant native lands). Not amazing but good
Koujitsuei no Tobira
