summary: the north and south have been in a long standing conflict. anisa, who was taken and brought to the north, must rely on her stepbrother dietrich to survive. as a baby she’ll die otherwise in the north’s tradition of competing for the family succession through any means possible. dietrichs cold demeanor seems to soften up to anisa, but does he have his own plans for her future? review: SOO GOOD AND ADDICTING!! both leads are smart and the side characters are lovable, highly recommend. beware, though it hasn’t happened yet there will be a step-sibling romance which personally i don’t mind since neither saw the other as a sibling from a young age.

FOR SURE ONE OF THE BEST ART IN MANHWA THAT IVE SEEN <33 translations were a bit confusing to slug through, but omg the characters are just too beautiful
