5 Chapters 1-2) Catholic Priest / Troubled Youth — ★★★★★ Father Ross, a Catholic priest, witnesses a troubled young man named Cliff (sometimes Leif, translation varies) attempting to rob a store. Ross talks to him and is troubled by Cliff's insistence that he was doing god's will. As Ross becomes more worried and pries deeper into Cliff's life, he discovers that the boy has been indoctrinated into a cult, but the cult captures him before he can escape. From then on Cliff shows him kindness and affection, and the two of them become entangled in a complex relationship, both trying to save eachother from their perceived "false gods". 3-4) Human / Plant — ★★★★★ Businessman Hana discovers an abandoned houseplant outside the flower shop of Miki, a man who dislikes him despite his best efforts. Hana takes the plant home to prevent it from being stolen, but that night, the plant starts to speak to him, and claims to have met god. One day, Hana drinks and falls asleep with his new conversation companion resting on his chest, only to wake up and find out that the plant has grown into a human! Who just so happens to look exactly like Miki... 5) Extras for both previous stories.

7(+2) Chapters Yoshiro, a convenience store clerk, sees regular customer Mr. Chen—whom his coworker has nicknamed Zombie King—looking *particularly* exhausted one night and realizes that Mr. Chen's usual meal is out of stock, so Yoshiro approaches him to recommend an alternative. This is the first time Mr. Chen actually took note of the clerk (who is *totally* his type) and from there, they strike up a friendly acquaintanceship. When a pandemic strikes, everyone is forced into social distancing and has to wear masks. Mr. Chen sees Yoshiro in his, and decides to be brave and confess that he'd much rather be able to see Yoshiro's cute face...

The two gangs have high tension between them after infighting leads to the death of one of the Kirigaya members at the hands of a member of the Kuroda clan. To resolve the issue, Nishida visits Kuroda personally and hopes to be able to settle the issue with money. When Kuroda refuses, Nishida pushes him down and offers up his own body instead... A tangled web of complicated pasts, reencounters, drama, mind-games, and betrayal.
