Warning: This is a rant of the whole story and is full of spoilers.
I read everything and just got confused. I was really invested in the story and how it'll make sense in the end, but it didn't. The dynamics of the mother and the ML confused me. He was an unfeeling man at the beginning of the story. He didn't care about anyone else even the woman he married but when the widowed wife of his former professor wanted to bang, he immediately dives at the opportunity and married her a few pages after and lusts after the daughter? I mean, what? We're only shown how ML and FL grown to live with each other in the past like sister and brother and not really in a romantic way.
There's also the threat of the mother of how she knew of someone who can kill ML if he dares lay a hand on her daughter, but it was never really pushed through that there might be somebody else who will investigate her death and care about what happens to the daughter. There's also her sudden death that was not explained properly. Was she really in an accident or was she really killed? In the end, the mom really didn't matter.
Then, here comes the professional dancer who knows about FL but it's not also explained how he grew interested in her or is he really interested in her. He also has some fucked up back story that is not even related to the current storyline. Yes, he was an orphan who was abused, raped and groomed by the man who adopted him then went on a killing spree when that man married a woman and had a child.. but then he also killed another child who was a friend of ML. I think the professor saw his foster dad in ML and how similar they almost were. I just don't get his importance in the story and the importance of the whole thing about him killing ML's childhood friend. Maybe it's the reason why, ML's so into teenagers because his friend was his first love? I really don't know.
The beginning intrigued me like I really thought this was going to be a crime story, but it wasn't. It tried to be but the story telling is messy and it doesn't really have a steady plotline to adhere to. I think it also tried to be a romance story but it's just a disgusting story of man lusting over his stepdaughter and him grooming her and manipulating her to stay with him forever. I also don't like how the art made FL so small when they're having sex that it looks like ML is fucking a freaking child. It;s disgusting and I just skipped over the scenes hoping to find the plot of the story.
