The ending is my biggest gripe. I wish there was more resolution from the Hayate. It wouldn't hurt to add another chapter to put everything to bed nicely. Would I re-read this? Perhaps not. At least I didn't regret spending time on it.

This work is very hard to rate IMO.There are good parts, boring bits, and some sections feeling hurried. Nonetheless gave it 3 stars..

This story definitely is not for everyone. Tread lightly as there are grave themes like incest, rape, child sexual assault, and choking. The choices the author panelled these images were deliberately disturbing. Please brace yourself when starting this. Personally I felt the treatment could be gentler though I can see what motivated the choices. To underline the value of the sacrifice of Tokio and to show how much Azam was able to keep much of his broken self because he had Tokio. I am not sure if people would understand breaking the other further so all the energies of the broken can be spent on surviving, healing or yearning while everything else fades in the background. Sick I know. I am happy they won. Very few broken people get to win the game of life. A lot of us are just dragging a foot in the gutter. The brother...I saw comments he was a victim too who had no Tokio. It is a fact the abused can become abusers. But still, he MUST receive his comeuppance soon rather than later.
