Usually avoid stories that involves child birth but this one is not that bad, even though the story seems hurried and incomplete.

So the stories are connected, and also the guy's tolerance towards the abuse is my thing, that is as bad as it sounds. First story is basically about a guy who got dumped, he didn't really "like" him much, its omegaverse so he took a well meaning guy home. Second one is about an abuser and the abused guy, very unrealistic and much to the author's fantasy. Ignore the comments of the translator.
