TW: age gap (18yo hs student × 20yo uni student), dubcon because of misunderstanding Aah i love this. The circumstances where they got together were iffy, especially with Junta being the pure-naive highschooler type. It kinda got resolved pretty quickly, they reaffirmed that it was consensual, and later when Junta told his friend about Arata, his friend made sure that Junta wasn't being taken advantage of. Moreover, their relationship is just really sweet. I love when men express and ask for affection openly, and this couple certainly did not hold back in that department. The dirty talk is cringey but easily skippable.

How to write dialogue like Yamashita Tomoko? I really want to be able to speak and read Japanese just so i could experience her mangas in her native language.

A really well written story! It's not focused on romance, it's more about the ins and outs of a friendship between two polar opposites, and i'm all for it. The characterization is on point, and i love that the two main characters stayed true to their personalities to the end. The author also did a great job portraying how highschool life and relationship works in real life, and i got tons of nostalgia from reading this manga. It's super good!

Asou Mitsuaki's works always make my heart ache. Seeing the art alone will touch you, and pair it with their beautiful writing, it's just amazing. I'm so thankful to be able to read works like this in the BL genre! https://mangatoto.com/series/169670

TW: sexual assault The sexual assault is not between MCs. This dj has a lot of those unnecessary and outdated tropes that will certainly make you roll your eyes--i certainly rolled mine, but what can i say? I love the dynamic. I love reading about manly guys being soft with each other. And i love that this manhwa captured the uneasiness and uncertainties in a first relationship well.

TW: dubcon, manipulative MC // this manga proves that i'm still a basic bitch after all these years reading BL manga hahah. I guess the author did a good job writing the ML--he's manipulative as hell, he feels little remorse in deceiving people, but he's charming, morally ambiguous, and has that little dent in his perfect mask that made you think "i want to fix him". In other word, a textbook bad boy. But he certainly doesn't feel shallow though--in fact, the whole manga would certainly read like a carbon copy of million other trashy romantica if it wasn't for the author's writing.
