The story feels like a rough draft with chapters of exposition missing that makes me feel the need to double check I didn't skip chapters. It is very rough and the ml leaves me feeling sour due to the obsessive and violent nature already shown and the tone shift was kind of shockin going from sweet innocent to that. I feel like this novel needs a warning for anyone who can't handle themes of toxic relationships cause it really made me uncomfortable and anxious how possessive and aggressive the ML was and it so early in the story I imagine it'll show up more/get worse as the story progresses. Not a story I'd particularly recommend. I love adoption stories and found family stories but this isn't it

nah fuck sung-yeon edit: and comments saying there are reasons and excuses and he gets better, I read the whole thing! he doesn't! he still guilts hosik at ever chance and there is only one time he stops himself from his usual stalking habit and it really just comes off as the reason he didn't is so that hosik doesn't get mad at /him/ again, not about how it makes hosik feel and affects hosik. the only reason he doesn't is cause of the effect it would have on him so it is still coming from a selfish place. and the people excusing it to be dark fluff, that isn't mentioned in the description! even the cover gives of the impression of being cute wholesome slice-of-life.
