dropped~ doesn't realistically portray emotions. to demonstrate; you don't just wake up like nothing happened after just being raped- that is, if you don't have a hard time processing events like that. this particular event brought nothing new to the plot, i could even say it could've been a "setting" to make the other confess to the latter. that was kinda glamorizing rape imo but you do youuuu... (it wasn't the love interest who raped him, a colleague did- but even still..)
