The second time she died after giving birth. In her third she met Crow. She hanged herself after learning that Sylvia is pregnant with Soleil's child. (chapter 11 of the novel) How I wish she would run away with Alfred, her guardian knight (successfuly this time, bc the one time she tried he died protecting her). Ah nevermind, seems like he has a fiancée, it was a misunderstanding, he is just too kind. Seems like Soleil had a dream about his past life ? Don't know much about that, but he doesn't remember the dream. In that dream, he said that he couldn't control what he said, wrote or did. He was mean to Illya and kind to Sylvia, his mind got twisted, sometimes thinking it was normal to love Sylvia and other that he souldn't treat Illya like that, that he should be by her side. Interesting. (ch 15-16 novel) Even when she tried to ran away alone it didn't end well. She got captured, was treated like a slave and sent to a brothel. Alfred found her just before she died, brought her back to the mansion just to be insulted by Soleil who finished his monologue by telling her that thanks to her, he had built a family with Sylvia and had two children ! Then she died of exhaustion/sickness. What an asshole. And Sylvia who said nothing !!! Pisses me off. (ch 13-14 novel) We learn that Illya's mother put poison/drug in the vial of tea she gave Sylvia ! But I don't understand why. She said that Sylvia shouldn't have gone to the academy and that she became more lively, which isn't good apparently. Then the mom killed herself. (ch 30-31 novel) Okay so she went back in time (thanks to crow ?) to the day her mother died and they talked more (ch 34 novel) : “… And despite that, you put drug in her tea?” “Because that’s the only thing I could do. To keep that child in the mansion.” Remember the book about the love story of the knight and the princess of another country ? Yeah. This didn't ended like the book said. The knight being the father of Illya, the princess the mother of Sylvia and guess who is the maid ? "[...] the woman who married the knight as the princess’s substitute, might have been carrying another duty. Maybe, that other responsibility was even more important. [...] In that way, the princess gave a woman to the knight as her substitute. This person was the princess’s maid, … my mother." (ch 33 novel) Ok so the one behind the kidnapping of Sylvia was Simon/Saion ! The rude "friend" of Soleil who came from another country. "A few days ago, Her Majesty the Queen passed away. … Because she wasn’t blessed with a child, the problem of succession has broken out among the royal family. [...] Her Majesty the Queen had a little sister. She already died a long time ago though. That’s right, that was Silvia-chan’s mother." bc it would be troublesome and dangerous if she was to appear, he decided it was better to make her disappear. (ch 39 novel) Even Edward the red hair friend (who was beside Soleil in his POV saying that he should go to see Illya and all, who came to visit her in prison saying that it was useless and she couldn't go against fate, even cried in front of her saying he was sorry) was also involved. Seems like his family was threatened. "Naturally, I cannot say I don’t care what will happen to my family. But, they love me. These people would never forgive me if I become a traitor for them." (ch 40 novel) After Illya got hurt in the forest, she asked the 3 others to run away in case there might be other accomplices of Saion. Then just before she died she heard a voice, Crow. After that chapter, new arc ! Centered on Crow ! (ch 41 novel) https://hermitranslation.blogspot.com/2018/10/chapter41.html https://www.mangago.me/home/mangatopic/16672359/
