I thought t they would've met wit the ex bc it was platonic love, and they knew each other for literal years and were actually married, even if it was just for the title. I really thought we'd have seen the wide and her partner as well, but it's probably best we didn't because it allowed the mc to heal and for the story to go forward. I like it cause usually most stories do it.

My only problem with this was that the love interest blocked the main character from his contacts and I won't win so far to do that just because His feelings got rejected even though it's a more refreshing approach Then the stalking or non concentral acts that we usually see.. It was a little too short and the actions of the characters were too dramatic for how short the story was.
