Snake scene completely unnecessary...please actually love the mc

I didn't like this one as much as safari.Originally thought this was a pretty cool, but it ended up.It was a sequel. I might have liked this more if I hadn't read the previous story first but since I read this one second I like it a little less. The first story or so far a game was really to my taste. It's usually stories that I read first that I'd like better and this is No exception.

I thought t they would've met wit the ex bc it was platonic love, and they knew each other for literal years and were actually married, even if it was just for the title. I really thought we'd have seen the wide and her partner as well, but it's probably best we didn't because it allowed the mc to heal and for the story to go forward. I like it cause usually most stories do it.
