Stalker's Game

Complete | TAN | 2000 released

So I read this a looong time ago, and it was pretty good at making me uncomfortable. I mean what do you expect when reading something under the physiological category. I knew what I had sighed up for. That’s to say, don’t EVER romanticize relationships of sort. It’s very dangerous. Other than that if you are old enough and wise enough to differentiate between was appropriate and not than this is for you. I didn’t know how to feel about the ending…… 9/10

Ummm so like the shackles that the psychological genre has on yaoi is just astounding. EVERYONE told me not to read this, and I didn’t……..for a good amount of time, but ya know what they say, curiosity killed the cat, and after that pen scene, curiosity did INDEED kill this cat….well butt if ya catch my drift. Like it’s getting sewed up and shipped out. No need for it anymore. Pooping who? I don’t know her. Anyways, I will say that although this art style will probably, hopefully not, haunt me in my dreams, I did unfortunately enjoy the thrill of the read. My mouth was agape the whole time. The author has a keen eye for fucked up situations. The plot twist was well done! I had an inkling that it could be both but it didn’t seem logical, then it just all clicked. That ending, as well is so open ended, it kind of pisses me off but it can be taken either literal or (what I like to see it as) showcasing that even though our protagonists fought through and refused to give the antagonist the pleasure of his full submission , the psychological shackles will always follow him, and therefore the antagonist did win in a way. Pretty profound. Shows the true effects of trauma especially to this degree. 9/10
