A Capable Maid
Best story on the platform right now. Love the intelligence of the characters and that nobody's character feels forced into a role. I simultaneously want the MC to run off alone and do nothing for her whole life because I'd still read this story, and also have her be accepted by ml. I'm a big fan of the ML by the way because he has such integrity in his character. As for Morena, the MC, She is brave and polite and kind and not annoying ever! So good and refreshing to read. Love that the rival characters aren't dumbly in love either. To Rifu (commentor); I didn't find the foreign Prince to be a representation of all of Islam when I read his parts of the story, rather of you notice both Nations had somewhat diminutive names for each other (Pagans vs Heathens, was it?), And the Prince seemed just like an entitled Prince with high expectations and expensive tastes. I feel like the story could have been written with any snooty head of state, it could have been the pope and still have worked because it was not a comment on a particular religion but that's just my take. Rather, I like that they didn't shy away from having people with different beliefs and the tone of the story is obviously European, so it just has to be something that's not historically European in Islam fit in I'm assuming.
