Wow, this is on a whole other level! The intrigues in the story are so complex that they keep grabbing me by surprise. I've been reading this with mixed emotions since many of the things that happen do not sit right with me and it feels as if there is not truly a single god that is not responsible for any crimes. But at the same time, the lack of morality or different grounds of judgement by the gods make it acceptable as it matches up with their images and personality in the original mythologies. Hmm, anyways! I think this story is a unique gem amongst so many others I've read! It's not always I'm sent off on a rollercoaster of mixed emotions like this!
