edit: you know what i need to mention this here, the beginning of this one fucking sucks. the original Senianna was in so much pain and was never once loved or treated kindly. and everyone blames her for it. they talk about the original like she was weak, like she deserved it, Lance literally calls her an "Egomaniac" who "Lashed out at everyone until nobody was left beside her" like fucking excuse me? she was depressed because she was being abused, she didn't lash out, she tried to kill herself. None of you selfish assholes were on her side to begin with. nobody ever tried to help her. it's all so victim blaming and it makes me feel so irrationally upset. i feel bad for the original Senianna. my heart aches for her. https://bato.to/chapter/1577323 thats not to say this entire thing is complete trash. i'll be honest you just sorta have to white knuckle through all this shit, but the family is so fucking cute later. they never still never apologize though. and uuhhh god i don't remember the plot point properly but... theres a whole thing later with the magic and the portals and the mcs teacher from back in Korea and like... the mc was the original and got replaced and that replacement was the one who was treated badly so it's all cool and justified or... fucking something it's been a long time since i read the chaps. i'll update this when i get there lmao. i still think what i said about the begining stands because even if thats all true you don't know that first read (and clearly i still dont know on the reread) so like... I still feel like it's to victim blaming about the whole thing. regardless of magic shenanigans I really like this series, I feel like the plot of progressing quickly enough that it never gets boring. I will say the new magic developments are... while not entirely out of place super unexpected? I thought this was going to be primarily about cooking and now there's this whole magic portal business. I'm excited to spent more time with the Prince (whom I presume must be the ML?). I feel like we still don't know him that well. im sad the artists changed... the original one was super unique and really stood out. the new artists is REALLY good don't gte me wrong, but it doesn't have the smame creative spark you know? anyway... i'm caught up with chapter (85~) and boy howdy! i hope Lily explodes i hate this bitch tch. also I miss Sienna's family it's been such a logn time since we spent time with her brothers... orz
