ack. i read up to the end of season 3 (so ch 95) and i need a breaaaaaak.

:( the beginning is really really good and i love the characters but... the last quarter is sooooo rushed it sucks any enjoyment i had right up. it was really disappointing. overall i still really liked it but it didn't live up to it's potential. the stuff with her past life was fascinating and we just... didn't deal with it. sadge. i've seen mention here and there in the comments that this is based on a novel so. if i ever get the strength of will to read a webnovel again i will see if i can find it *salute* https://bato.to/title/99999-the-duke-s-bored-daughter-is-my-master

reading this over on bato -> https://bato.to/title/80342-my-secretly-hot-husband/1672027-ch_43 so far. couple of thoughts. the prologue is so bad. don't read it. it gives you a totally wrong impression of the story. a lot of really cool interesting ideas and i've really liked what we've got so far but we are hitting a few snags. for one... well. about the demons... it's... this is entirely a me thing, but if we don't make some kind of peace with the demons i am going to be so so disappointed. i know they're "evil" or whatever but they're a bunch of sentient races with their own society. i get the feeling from how the main demon talks about how "demons exist to sow chaos" that they're just inherently evil in this story but... but! they're people with thoughts and feelings :( i am perpetually sympathetic towards demons forever so. depending on where that plot point goes i may end up developing pretty negative feelings about this also this also isn't an actual poblem or critism but the ml just isn't really my type aesthetically. he's handsome! and i would have no qualms with him in any other setting but if you keep harping on it i'm going to feel like the product isn't living up to the hype. especially when the dmeon lord who is 100% my type (shitty guys with earrings and crop tops > everything)

I really REALLY loved this one. the art is on another level gorgeous the character designs are out of the world the mc is extremely likeable and relatable but... nnnnhhhgghhh. Alas I had to drop it. See the thing is eventually they introduce the TRUE male lead (and they make it clear he is different from the other guys) and I just! do not like him. he isn't as good as the other guys we met up til that point. and it JUST kills this webtoon for me. romance isn't enjoyable if you don't like both partners and I just felt he was such a disappointment compared the guy i was rooting for (the knight).

Fun! arts very nice. translation is a little wishy washy at first but we get an official eventually :)

suuuper good! it's super funny, and the ml is SOOOO perfect love him reading on bato instead, on ch 63. just wanted to ntoe how i LOVE how they're not afraid to still have silly moments. a lot of webtoons that start of funny and light drop almost all the jokes by the midway point but this one still has me giggling and kicking my feet all the time. we've got serious stuff happening (we gotta uncurse the poor side ml orz) but its still FUN. we still got goofy sequences and its still a delight to read. really well balanced so far. i always lose interest when shit gets to serious so this has been great upd8 for ch 79. i fucking love the side couple here. the main couple is perfect and i love them. the male lead is fantastic flawless best to ever do it type shit and the mc is great. but like. the side couple is great to and thats so rare! normally they would just kinda be there in comparison to the mc and m but the side fl is the protagonist of her own story and she will do whatever it takes to save her man! you gotta love her upd8 for 95: thats the end of the main story! loved it, 8/10 splendid stuff. gonna read the epilogue over here since the official doesn't have it yet >.> okay! complete! loved it. perfect happy ending for everyone. some parts of the story are a little contrived and... power of love-y for lack of a better term but like. it's sweet. i love that for them. they love each other so much anything is possible. remains consistently funny right up to the end, very sweet. https://bato.to/title/106999-the-crow-s-prince

k. so. i'm 5 chapters in. and hoooooh my god. i think the narrative device of the female lead being trapped in a doll is so so fun and could be used in some really interesting way. aside form that. i'm reading this in the way you can't look away from a car crash. its not ''good'' per say but its fascinating in the way only a shoddy story can be. the ml is just. deranged. the story keep swinging wildly between ''hes an irredeemable psycho'' and ''hes just traumatized'' and hasn't really found a middle ground. his friends treat him kindly and thye have funny moments together where its clear he means a lot to them but then he starts threatening to kill people again. and thats not even touching the fact the fl is reincarnated into a doll hes using to replace his dead sister... lets just hope he stops calling her by his sisters name soon??? all that to say its lousy but a fun kind of lousy. also the arts kinda bad. not unreadable bad but sometimes you notice a character has Yaoi Hands and giggle to yourself for a moment. i've read worse looking stuff though, and when they have the mc making funny faces thats really well executed.
