This seemed like it was going to get deep into the characters emotions, their histories, their actions and why they are how they are today... but I've been greatly disappointed because it has only happened once so far when they delved into why karlyle hides his emotions in that flashback when he got loss and sick. Everything else has been done superficially just by being told instead of immersing us into the emotions
