Male lead is possessive and broken, but the female lead is equally as broken and cold hearted. They are both beautifully drawn and at the end, you can feel fl obsession towards her lover (choosing to become immortal for him and slowly liking his physical affection). FL is villainess-esque in a lot of ways, and OP without being a savior/hero type. I also really like the trope of "male lead was originally supposed to kill me" or "the pet (ml) that turned on its master (mc)".
