Two to three times a week, a boy visits the bookstore on his way back from school. Over there, he reads books about folklore and myths on his hometown. But, he also goes there to sneak a peek at a mysterious person. Just who is he? This short story is part of the same universe as Minazuki Akira’s other oneshots from Canna, Gozen Yoji, Sasayaku You ni and Rakka Koibumi.

The title story features the earlier life of the character Oscar from the manga "Thomas' Heart." Due to many large and small problems that have added up over the years, Oscar's parents' marriage is collapsing. One day, after a fight that Oscar believes is going to end like all of the others, his father does something irreversible. Now Oscar and his father will have to deal with the consequences.

1-4.5) Tomoharu Okabe is starting to work as an illustrator for a popular sensationalist novelist, Tougo Tsubaki. Since Okabe-san is not an established mangaka yet, he is persuaded to illustrate for Tsubaki-sensei. However, this assignment with Tsubaki-sensei ends up more than he ever bargains for. 5+6) Shy Candy, Wanton Candy Kitamichi Haruka, son of a kimono shop owner, shares sweet kisses with Fujinami Kaoru, son of a dance school and martial arts. But never goes any further, for fear Fujinami will find out his secret! 6.5) An extra with Tsubaki-sensei and Okabe from Ch 1-4.5
