The story of an Amish boy named Theo living in America in the 1980s. Theo has travelled to a bar for Rumspringa, a traditional coming-of-age period for members of the Amish community where the adolescent leaves the enclosed religious community to take part in the outside world. There, Theo meets Oz, a man working as a waiter after abandoning his dream to be a Broadway performer.

"I've always dreamed of raising a dog since I was young. You could make that happen for me, our dear Deputy Manager Baek Dam." Baek Dam would shift all his work and all sorts of tasks onto Ju Yeon-il a contract employee who he found utterly irritating. He would scold him, push him to the edge and even drunkenly revealed Ju Yeon's deeply personal struggle with alcoholism during a company dinner. One day, Baek Dam wakes up in an unfamiliar place, hands bound, and facing Ju Yeon. There's a dog collar around his neck, a dog bowl pushed in front of him, and dog food inside the bowl. Clearly, he's being treated like a dog. Overwhelmed by Ju Yeon's different demeanor and his threats, Baek Dam ends up imitating a dog on a video. With this, his fate is sealed, and he is now at the mercy of Ju Yeon. What will happen to Dam, who is now in a position where he will inevitably become "Yeon-il's dog"? What kind of influence will the relationship between the two men, and connected by a leash have on each other?
