It's crazy, I loved the first half, started getting tired of after during the third quarter, but then the finale, the last quarter was actually OK. Would I call this my favourite romance? No. But would I recommend it? Before the ending I would have said no but now that the ending has released and I am content, yeah actually. But only someone who really REALLY like drama and romance. But uh, I know why Nisaka couldn't get an ending from a canonical stand-point since in the flash forward his niece talks with him and he calls Nejima in a way that is more like a friend, since if they were married she would know, however it feels homophobic, like why did the two girls get endings and not Nisaka? On top of that, can we talk about Misaki's ending? It feels like they made it the bad ending with how Ririna ran away and the only thing we see of her after is her with a bob-cut and in their adult lives she only appears pouting at their kid as opposed to in Ririna's ending where Nisaka and Misaki are there smiling all happy and that. All in all though, this was a fun ride. I don't regret the years. I really wish they'd adapt the remaining chapters into some kind of like, movie or OVA series though, since I don't think it's popular enough for an anime.
