The MC's attitude towards the Duke is ignorant and a breeding ground for misunderstandings. If she just communicated or asked him why she wouldn't have to keep him at a distance and actually have literally the strongest ally in the kingdom especially since he was the reason the king was able to on the throne. The misunderstanding that the Duke is with the royal family's side is hog wash and can be solved if she just asks. It's seriously frustrating. I love predictable romances but this is why I also hate it at the same time. JUST COMMUNICATE WITH THE LOVE INTREST.
