moon "shin" shingun is a struggling, broke, shady street mechanic who fucks with people's cars so they have to get their cars fixed by him again. unfortunately, when he fucks with a gang member's (jake gilligan's) car, he catches on and cons shin into being his personal mechanic and sex partner. shin is swept up into the criminal underworld of detroit whilst simultaneously earning a stable, well-paying job with the help of jake gilligan. jake ends up obsessed with moon shingun and does everything to keep him by his side, going so far as to hide secrets about shin's own family. how will the rest even unfold?
note that the story does have problematic aspects (portrayed negatively), as is customary for media that is about darker topics, such as the mafia and violence.
