Oof! Finally read this and what a gem! A story set in a mediaeval period, with a background of politics, aristocracy and civil riots. Newly appointed foreign bodyguard who's a fan of his master x a self-made lonely genius aristocrat master Seme is absolutely smitten by the uke from their first meeting, we see the progression of feelings and falling in love all while there's danger looming in the background.
