now this is a good example of amazing fiction writing, love it! the way each characters are portrayed... i love it! my favorite character is helena and the protagonist. im glad it isnt a romance focus thing (nothing wrong with romance), rather it really focuses on the main plot of her wanting to escape the world.

lol people complaining when it's another copypaste story but then when a unique and promising story comes up they complain why it's not sugar coated & cheesy romance-- but anw! love this sm, it does have some romance bits and fanservice here and there but it's more of a plot-heavy story! i love the writer's writing, if you enjoyed remarried empress then you'll like this one too although this one has more twists and turns, and more characters with individual stories.

SPOILER ----> just finished it and i love it so much! i love the drama and the way the characters are portrayed. i understood the ending and was satisfied with it seeing how it is realistic and i agree with the writer's take on this... but i wish there was more to it, like i wish they also talked about what happened more to the characters + more extras. still enjoyed and didn't regret reading this nonetheless.
