This manga is pretty sad and realistic so do have some tissues with you when reading this. It shows how their relationship developed and how the experiences they and their friends and family went through.

The Horizon does not hold back in addressing death, fears, and the darkest parts of the human existence, at least through out the majority of the story. Great emphasis on philosophy and addressing the questions that every person must deal with at some point or another, a brutal story on the surface that contains a very hopeful message.

It's great but I think there's something lacking for me tho.

Not your typical love triangle.

This is about how it feels being gay in the society, about how hard is the process of self-acceptance, about how hard is open with your parents and your friends, especially when your sexuality is not "normal".

It is about childhood friends becoming lovers. The girl is head over heels for him and is aggressive in making him her future husband.

Boy meet Maria really did hit something in me. The story is beautiful, not only the art that is magnificent but also the characters are charismatic and you want to see them overcome their difficulties, you want to see them reach a point where they can finally overcome that obstacle that prevents them from feeling complete. Rest in peace Kousei Eguchi (PEYO)

This is fun. A cute, funny, and most of all, sfw manga about a shy gay boy trying to become friends with his crush, drawn in a classic 80's art style. Wow cute is that. Hehe
