UP TO CH 20 - ...huh. this is an interesting one fer sure. It's not my typical style of art... but... I dunno... for the type of story it's portraying, it actually feels appropriate. Like, I'd be HELLA mad if everyone was stunning and the art was refined and superb and hi-quality and all that. This sorta... grittiness... really fits the characters and storytelling, making it far more immersive than I initially thought it'd be. 4 stars until I get farther, but I'm interested!! And I like club guy for some reason. I feel like his story reveal is gonna be something worth telling soon enough. Have a "not-so-great" feeling about the cop friend, tho. :/ I dunno what it is, but he's making me HELLA suspicious, ngl. I don't NOT like him yet, but I'm also suPAH warry of him and I guess we'll see as it goes along. :o

A story can be as complex as you want it or as simple or as twisted or as healing as we want. This story is complex and twisted, but the ending is filled with hope. I could never look down on the brothers. The bad stuff is never going to go away, but now I can hope they have happy moments for whatever remains of their lives. In some stories, the happier you are, the more brutal you can be to protect it. Sigh. Good luck to them all.")
