This is a down right amazing story!! Deserves ten + stars. I am thoroughly impressed with all the characters and plot. The suspense is thrilling. It might be an odd analogy however, to me, Fian is like an onion. Lindsay peels a layer of his character back and there is still much more to be discovered. I deeply appreciate that we discover the character's characteristics through action, events, and their in the moment decisions. Most stories rely on "telling" the reader about the character rather than showing and demonstration. Although we are 65 chapters in, I still feel like I can't predict Fian's behavior with 100% accuracy. Which is amazing! Being an INTJ personality, I constantly analyze for patterns and am easily bored with cookie cutter characters and plot lines. I enjoy the challenge and intrigue of Fian's character. Can't wait for more! Thank you for sharing this story with us!!

As a member of management myself, leaders don't get to say we don't have enough time. Of course we don't, but not having time is not an acceptable reason for a member of my team to be falling short. Manage processes, lead people. The training, coaching, and ultimate success of our teams is what defines a leader's success. Here, the team leader is blaming the employee's performance on the employee. When the team leader, in my opinion, is failing the employee as her leader. The team leader needs to stop belittling, degrading, making excuses, and start putting the important, engaging with her team, inspiring them to do good work, infront of what she deems urgent. Being proactive in leading her team, working through her team,, working with their strengths, identifying their opportunities, and working on those opportunities is the path to success.

Riveting. Stories don't often evoke strong emotions in me, but the despair, loneliness, and self denial of the main characters was viserially felt. Highly recommended.
