The pace is on the slow side but fine, the protagonist is good, the art isn't groundbreaking but it's average. My entire rating of this is mostly because I'm ecstatic to see an unapologetic player fl. After so many Chinese webtoons that stress the virtuous 'pure' character type, I'm thoroughly over them. Honestly she has the most chemistry with 'Juliana' but the ml is SPOILERS Zion.

Time travel. Saintess is killed and threatens god into giving her another chance to live. Goes back in time and is dedicated to being a villainess. The protag in this is evil, a little crazy and emotionally immature. I find it suits her backstory well. Different than most in the genre where the villainess isn't really a villain. FL: Headstrong type ML: Soldier type

This is just generally excellent. Definitely worth reading.

Loved this. Just a bit of cute, low drama fluff.

Both funny and generally satisfying. It takes what are commonly silly tropes and adds genuine character design that helps mitigate the obnoxiousness that usually results. It's nice to see her take care of the character she loves the way so many of us would with our biases. Not just generally fangirling over them, but defending and protecting them.

Finally got around to finishing this. I'm happy to say it ended up living up to my hopes for a strong female lead who stays strong even after getting together with her love interest. If found the end satisfying and loved the characters. There was more room to explore here with some characters being introduced late in the game, but I don't think too much was lost by neglecting that side. Overall a good read with a fun couple and satisfying end.

I was worried they would ramble on and on to have her change her mind about revenge later. It's so good seeing they've stuck with it. Unlike others, I don't have an issue with how she sees the real daughter. The real daughter is not a bad person. She's kind and sweet. She has nothing to feel guilty or bad about and has done no harm. But that's what I like about this fl. She's got logical, well-thought-out characterization. It makes sense for her to still feel love for her abusive mother. It makes sense for her to hate and resent the sweet real daughter despite her doing nothing wrong. It sets her apart from the countless other lame, poorly designed shoujo protagonists out there with their saintly kindness. I think they effectively communicate where the true blame lies, while capturing human irrationality. If that isn't your thing, you have an endless parade of dumb, perfect Mary Sue protagonists who always hold themselves to impossible moral standards in the shoujo genre to read instead. I do have to say though, how they handle the fl's revenge is going to make or break this story for me. But so far, it's a 4 star, and going on my Isekai Worth Reading List.

Regarding all the complaints about fetishization, I have a mind-blowing revelation for you all: Fetishization is not real. It's not a thing. Gay, straight, bi, trans, we all 'fetishize' people who would never in a million years have sex with us. People are just using scary terminology to try and shame you for something they do themselves. Hypocrites. You don't have to swallow everything people put on your plate. Try thinking for once. As far as the mc being a girl, I like how it's handled here. They don't feel like they still identify as a girl. Because of this, my headcanon is that they're gender fluid. As someone who doesn't feel particularly agro over gender, I actually like this portrayal. But even if your headcanon is different, there's no difference between this and a reincarnation fic where the previous life was female. I usually hate that because they use it as an out for BL. Like the ml only loving the male version because they loved the female version. That's not going on here. The love interests are attracted to men. Oh and the mc is a bit of a perv and listens to two guys having sex. Big whoop. Unless you consider the back of the cereal box to be manga I don't know how you got here, where you came from, or where you think you are Where this is going to fail for my tastes is if it goes with the canon ending. If it does an about-face and has the mc end up with a girl, I'm burning this to all hell. There is absolutely no justification for having the mc end up with a girl in a BL. The only reason I'm following this is because I trust that it won't have that ending. There is a very strong inclination towards one particular guy, and also to a harem ending. I'm ok with either. I'm not ok with the straight-washing of BL. Overall, you are not missing anything by skipping this one. It's a light, shallow BL that's easy to read and has little impact. So I'm not going to recommend people read it. I'm just going to say I'm enjoying it.
